OUR MISSION We empower child abuse victims, their families, and our community through education, healing and justice. OUR VISION We will break the cycle of child abuse by educating families and our community to proactively protect children. The Children’s Advocacy Center for Denton County (CACDC) is a non-profit organization centered around four core values: Commitment, Collaboration, Integrity, and Wellness. CACDC coordinates investigations of child abuse in a collaborative, child-friendly environment. The CACDC team of forensic interviewers and family advocates work closely on investigations with law enforcement, Child Protective Services (CPS), and prosecutors. CACDC offers a range of services, from extensive therapy sessions with the clinical team to child abuse prevention education for adults with emphasis on recognizing and reporting abuse.To learn more about the CACDC and their cause, visit their website.
