Who We Are: Take A Stand’s Awareness Campaign

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Every year, hundreds of children living right here in our community suffer silently as victims of neglect, violence, and sexual abuse. That’s why we are asking you to take a stand with us–throughout the month of April the “Take a Stand for Children” awareness campaign will combine a series of special events with a social media promotion designed to present the alarming facts about child abuse and foster care in Denton County and the the two agencies who stand ready to help–CASA of Denton County and the Children’s Advocacy Center for Denton County.
