Who We Are: Take A Stand’s Awareness Campaign

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Every year, hundreds of children living right here in our community suffer silently as victims of neglect, violence, and sexual abuse. That’s why this year, we are taking a stand. Throughout the month of April, the Take a Stand awareness campaign will be hosting a series of special events and inviting you to “take a stand” — from the Kick Stand at the April 1 opening celebration on the Square to the Lemon Aid Stand challenge on social media.
